A space to understand, heal and grow.
Compassionate, trauma-informed support, to help you understand your experiences, strengthen emotional regulation and create meaningful change.
Hello — I'm Tiffany
I am a trauma-informed Mental Health Social Worker who works with young people and adults experiencing distress, trauma, anxiety and longstanding emotional difficulties. My experience spans psychiatric facilities, public hospitals, NGOs, EAP services and private practice (in Australia and overseas). Living and working in different cultural settings has given me a deep respect for the many ways people cope, survive and heal.
I use evidence-based approaches including EMDR, ACT, DBT and CBT and I tailor therapy to suit the person in front of me. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood and able to explore what has brought you to therapy at your own pace.
Together, we can make sense of how past experiences, self-beliefs and patterns of behaviour may be affecting your life now. From there, we work toward reducing distress, building practical tools and helping you feel more grounded, confident and connected in everyday life.
My approach is warm, genuine and collaborative. I believe therapy can help people not only feel better but also understand themselves more deeply and move forward with greater clarity, resilience and purpose.
“We may not be responsible for the world that created our minds, but we can take responsibility for the mind with which we create our world”
— Dr Gabor Mate.
How I Can Help
EMDR
An evidence-based therapy for processing distressing memories. Widely recognised as a leading treatment for trauma, it can reduce symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD).
Using bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) helps reduce the emotional charge of traumatic memories and supports the brain to heal and reprocess these experiences more effectively.
Emotional regulation work
Stress and trauma can leave the nervous system on high alert.
I draw on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), alongside practical strategies such as grounding, breathwork and body awareness, to help you feel calmer, safer and better able to manage intense emotions.
Trauma-informed
counselling
Trauma-informed counselling recognises the impact of past experiences on the way you think, feel, and relate to others.
Grounded in safety, trust and choice, this collaborative approach helps you develop greater self-awareness, better understand
your identity, recognise triggers and
underlying beliefs and build healthier boundaries. In doing so, therapy supports deeper insight, stronger emotional resilience and lasting change.
