Below you'll find a clear breakdown of session fees, Medicare rebates, and what to expect when you come with a Mental Health Care Plan.

If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan prepared by your GP, you are eligible to claim a Medicare rebate.

How to access your rebate
To access your rebate you'll need to:
Visit your GP and request a Mental Health Treatment Plan
Obtain your referral
Provide a copy of your referral before your first session
Medicare currently subsidises up to 10 individual sessions per calendar year.
Private Health Insurance
If you hold private health insurance with extras cover, you may be eligible for a rebate on allied mental health services. Contact your insurer directly to confirm your entitlements, as cover varies by fund and policy.
DVA, WorkCover & Third-Party Referrals
Please get in touch to discuss referral pathways and funding arrangements.
Payments
In-person appointments: Payment is required at the end of each session via EFTPOS (debit or credit card). A 1.1% card processing fee applies. Cash is not accepted.
Telehealth appointments: Payment is processed securely at the end of each session.
A 1.1% processing fee applies.
Cancellation policy
If you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible. Appointment times are reserved especially for you, and providing notice helps me offer that time to another client who may be waiting for support.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so via our booking system or by emailing tiffany@tiffanyhomeshaw.com.au.
Cancellation fees are not claimable under Medicare. For administrative purposes, credit card details are stored securely.
